My sewing machine!

 This is the sewing machine I got from my grandmother, so it's very special to me. My grandmother was very talented, she could do anything, she was an amazing cook, she was terrific at crochet and sewing, she was very pretty and nice, I wish I had inherited half of her amazingness...
 This sewing machine is quite old, but it''s very sturdy and easy to use. I always have much fun with it. Unfortunately, due to its long use, its wood has been worn out. So I decided to make it pretty again!
 I made a blue sky with white clouds in the door's front side (same design as my blog's background, it's a pattern I really like), and put black and white polka-dots in the inside, and decorated that sewing supplies holder with beads and a black ribbon. I used more polka-dots and a checkered pattern for the table. And found a gorgeous black wood pattern for the sides.
 It was a very much fun project for this summer holidays, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I hope my grandma can see it from Heaven and approves what I did.. ♥

Christmas card for my grandparents!

This is a Christmas card I made for my grandparents. In the front you can see a house, and if you open its window, you can take a peek inside it and find a dog waiting for you for a Christmas party inside his home. 

I had much fun making it, I hope my grandparents liked it too ♥

Dr. Owl!

This is an owl plushie I made for my friend. It's dressed as a doctor with a sthetoscope and glasses because my friend is a Medical school student, she always makes me very proud! And it's an owl because she's very smart and  supercute just like an owl ♥

Gift box card!

This is a card I made for a dear friend. 

It's shaped as a gift box, and it's full of my best wishes for her (in Portuguese).

I wish her all the best always ♥

Christmas and New year's cupcakes pop-up card!

This is a Christmas and New year's card I made for my friends and family. 

The first cupcake is shaped as a Christmas tree, the second one is a yummy heart-shaped one representing my feelings for those to whom I sent this card, and the last one is white for a peaceful new year, and I tried to add a firework there too (didn't succeed though..).

These are cute cake slices pierces made by dear friend Gillanek. I love anything shaped like sweets and she made them yellow specially for me since it's my favorite color! They look good enough to eat, don't they?

Lovely panda cross-stitched by Gillanek!

Since this week I got a card made by dear Gillanek,  I decided to post here the lovely presents I for from her last year's Christmas too. This is a super cute panda she cross-stitched for me, I remember she asked my favorite animal and she did it specially for me, it made me so happy! And having it in my hands and seeing how beautiful and wonderfully done it is, it made me want to start cross-stitching too. The shadows and outlines she did are so pretty! Thank you very much for being such great inspiration and good friend ♥

 This week I got a lovely Christmas card from dear friend Gillanek from Poland. Its simplicity and loveliness make it so special, thank you, dear! It made me very happy, you're always such a caring and very talented friend ♥

Cross-stitched kitty Christmas card!

This is a Christmas card I made for my dear friend Gillanek from Poland. I cross-stitched it myself, and it was my first piece, made specially for her. Since she's so talented at cross-stitching, she's been great inspiration for me to start doing it too. I'm still learning ( thank you very much for my friend's mom who so patiently and so nicely taught me! ) so there are many mistakes and it's a very simple design I found in the intenet, but Im looking forward to cross-stitching much more and even doing my own designs very soon!
